SPECTRUM, Arkansas Tech University's LGBTQ+ student organization, hosted a Pride Walk on Thursday on campus.
Students and members of the community were invited to join in and show their pride. The event began with a gathering around the Hindsman Bell Tower, where participants of the Pride Walk waved rainbow flags and cheered. From there, they marched around the campus, chanting and celebrating the diverse community that makes up Arkansas Tech University.
The Pride Walk ended with participants gathering in the Doc Bryan Student Services Center to share their stories and experiences. It was a powerful display of solidarity and acceptance that demonstrated the strength of the LGBTQ+ community at Arkansas Tech University.
