Since the beginning of Covid, I have been on a steady incline when it comes to weight and I am now 12 pounds heavier than I have ever been.
When I was around 22 years old, I hit 238 pounds after my grandfather died. I went to Lifestyles which was a weight loss program here in Russellville and was successful at reducing my weight to 170lbs through their program and eventually to 160 lbs which is an ideal weight for me. Since that time, I was able to maintain my weight only reaching 180 lbs until a few years ago.
About a year and a half ago, we lost my grandmother and my weight hit a huge spike again. I slowly watched my weight creep up to 200, 210, 230, to 250. Well 250 is enough!
Since I have become this large, I do not breathe easily, I have had more anxiety, and stomach issues irritate me almost daily. It's time to make a change for the better!!! It's time to relearn how to eat right... I'm thinking a Mediterranean diet would benefit both Cody (My Husband who you will hear a lot about if you continue reading my blogs) and I. We both need to exercise on a daily basis as well.
