It's called Give Back Box. We all shop online nowadays and have tons of these boxes laying around if you are a hoarder like I am. I am putting this in the innovative ideas category because I think it's such a neat, modern way to donate your unused items. I've been cleaning out my closets over the last couple of months and finally getting rid of stuff that I've held onto for years because I will eventually need it one day.

Why did Give Back Box begin, you may ask? Well "In June 2012, Monika Wiela was walking along Michigan Avenue in Chicago when she saw a homeless man holding a sign that said, “I need shoes”. As the owner of an online shoe store, Monika desperately wanted to help him. Not having a pair of man shoes, she decided to go back later on with a pair of shoes but the homeless man was no longer there.
This event had such a profound effect on Monika. She soon began to think of ways to help people in similar situations. The day after it happened! She knew exactly how she wanted to help. And so the idea was born. She would connect people in a way never done before and help them to give back in a convenient and simple way to help millions."
